Privacy Policy
How Everdawn collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information outside the medical record.
Contents10 sections
1. Scope and responsible entities
#This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by Matter Labs LLC, doing business as Everdawn, through public websites, applications, customer support, marketing, administrative operations, and other services that link to this policy.
It does not replace the Notice of Privacy Practices that applies to protected health information (“PHI”) maintained by a Partner Medical Practice. It also does not govern independent third parties whose services have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
#Depending on how you interact with Everdawn, we may collect:
- Identifiers and contact information, such as name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, date of birth, and account identifiers.
- Account and transaction information, including program selection, scheduling activity, payment status, and customer-support history.
- Health-related information you choose to provide before it becomes part of a clinical record, such as goals, symptoms, interests, and eligibility responses.
- Technical information, including IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Communications, including email, SMS, telephone, survey, and support interactions.
- Inferences and preferences used to personalize administrative support and understand interest in Everdawn services.
3. How information is collected
#We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device, from service providers acting for us, from Partner Medical Practices as legally permitted for administrative operations, and from partners or referral sources when you have directed or authorized the interaction.
Clinical portals, laboratory systems, payment processors, and other connected services may collect information under their own terms as well as agreements with Everdawn or the Partner Medical Practices.
4. How we use information
#We use personal information to provide and improve the Platform; verify identity; determine administrative eligibility; schedule services; process payments; respond to questions; send requested communications; maintain security; prevent fraud; comply with law; and support the operations of Partner Medical Practices as permitted.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, service planning, and research where the information cannot reasonably identify you. We do not use PHI from authenticated clinical services for targeted advertising.
5. How information is disclosed
#We may disclose information to:
- Partner Medical Practices and licensed providers when needed to coordinate requested care;
- vendors providing hosting, security, communications, analytics, scheduling, payment, customer-support, and professional services;
- laboratories, pharmacies, device platforms, and other partners at your direction or as needed for requested services;
- government authorities, courts, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety;
- a successor or transaction participant in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to applicable confidentiality obligations; and
- other parties with your request or consent.
We do not sell PHI. Everdawn does not sell consumer health data. Certain analytics or advertising-related disclosures of ordinary website data may be treated as “sharing” under some state laws, in which case applicable opt-out rights will be honored.
6. Cookies, analytics, and privacy choices
#We may use cookies, pixels, software development kits, and similar tools for essential functionality, preferences, security, performance measurement, and limited marketing analytics. We do not use advertising technologies on authenticated clinical pages for cross-context behavioral advertising based on PHI.
You may adjust browser settings, use available cookie controls, or send a legally recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform from functioning.
7. Retention and security
#We retain information for the time reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, security, and regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary by the nature and context of the information.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur. Please notify us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
8. Your privacy rights
#Depending on your state, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about how personal information is processed; to opt out of certain sale, sharing, profiling, or targeted advertising; to limit certain uses of sensitive information; and to appeal a denied request.
Submit a request to privacy@everdawn.health. We may verify your identity and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law. Authorized agents may submit requests where legally allowed. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
Consumer health data requests are described separately in the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Requests concerning medical records should be directed to the applicable Partner Medical Practice under its Notice of Privacy Practices.
9. Children and changes
#The Platform is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through the public Platform without legally sufficient authorization.
We may update this policy as services and law change. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will receive additional notice where required.
10. Contact
#For privacy questions or requests, contact Matter Labs LLC, doing business as Everdawn, at privacy@everdawn.health. Clinical-record and HIPAA inquiries will be routed to the privacy official for the applicable Partner Medical Practice.
