Tired is a symptom

Exhaustion has causes. Most are findable.

1in10adults has chronic insomnia.1

Nearly4in10young women and teen girls have low iron.2

Four common reasons

Which one sounds like you?

More about the four reasons
  • Insomnia. CBT-I (cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia) is the first-line treatment, one-on-one or in a small group.1
  • Sleep apnea. Most people who have it don’t know.1 It drains energy and raises blood pressure. Treatment may be weight, a breathing device or medication.
  • Mood + stress. Low mood and short sleep feed each other. The loop can be broken from either side.
  • Physical causes. Low iron is common in young women and teen girls,2 and many adults with high blood pressure or prediabetes don’t know it yet.3 We also check hormones and medications, and refer you in person when needed.

Question 1 of 6

Do you have trouble falling or staying asleep at least 3 nights a week?

Not a diagnosis, and it doesn’t decide eligibility. Nothing is saved or sent. In a crisis, call or text 988. In an emergency, call 911.

All questions
Is this available now?

Not yet. It’s coming soon, starting in California. Ask about it and we’ll let you know when it opens.

Will my insurance cover it?

It’s being built to bill health plans and Medicare for covered visits, therapy and sleep testing. Coverage and cost depend on your plan, and we confirm both before your visit.

Do I need a sleep study?

Only if your answers point to sleep apnea, and usually as a one-night test at home instead of a sleep lab.

Is CBT-I better than sleeping pills?

For chronic insomnia it’s the recommended first treatment, and the benefits last after the sessions end. Medication can still be discussed when it’s appropriate.
